Report on Exhibit at the Human Genetics Asia 2023

10月11日～14日に開催されたHuman Genetics Asia 2023にてブース展示を行いました。

今回の日本人類遺伝学会第68回大会はアジアパシフィック人類遺伝学会(APCHG)、東アジア人類遺伝学会連合(EAUHGS)との合同開催であったため、多くのアジア人をはじめとする海外の研究者が来訪しておりました。
今回のブースではポスターは日本語版だけでなく、英語版を併せて展示しました。
3日間で50名ほどが来訪され、バイオバンクとは何かなどの根本的な質問から、薬の精度を上げるために連携したいなどの提案をいただくなど、様々なお話をさせていただきました。
アンケートについても26名の方に回答いただき、NCBNに関心の高さがうかがえました。

対応した中で多かったのは分譲可能であるか、有償時の価格でした。
前段で見積もりがわかると企画を進めやすいため、NCBNとしてその辺りの情報を出すことを今後の課題としていきたいと考えます。

We exhibited a booth at Human Genetics Asia 2023, October 11-14.

Since the 68th Annual Meetings of the Japan Society of Human Genetics (JSHG) was held jointly with 14th Asia Pacific Conference on Human Genetics (APCHG) and 22nd Annual meeting of East Asian Union of Human Genetics Societies (EAUHGS), many Asians and other foreign researchers visited our booth.
At our booth, we displayed both Japanese and English versions of our posters.
Over the three days, about 50 people visited our booth, and we talked with them about a variety of topics, from fundamental questions such as what a biobank is, to proposals for collaboration to improve the accuracy of medicine.
As for the questionnaire, 26 people responded to it, showing that they are interested in NCBN.

The most common responses were the availability and the price of the provide.
Since it is easier to proceed with a project if we know the estimate in advance, NCBN would like to provide this kind of information as a future issue.
